I've been in this business since 1987, and my approach to the profession works. Nationwide, I’m in top 2% of Coldwell Banker real estate producers.

Each year for the past 10 years, I've averaged more than $12 million worth of single-family homes, townhomes, condos, co-ops, and two- to four-unit apartment buildings. And I honestly get as much pleasure from selling a $100,000 studio apartment as I do from selling a million-dollar home. I enjoy working with people and helping them make good decisions, and that holds true no matter how many zeros there are in a transaction. My Perspective

Most people define real estate agent as a business profession. While there's no doubt that a good agent needs business acumen, I view my business as a helping profession.

For the majority of people, buying or selling a home involves their most significant financial investment. It's my job to help clients feel they're making smart decisions by applying my years of experience on their behalf, providing them with accurate market data, and explaining marketplace nuances. It's my goal to help instill them with confidence.

Real estate transactions can create a great deal of stress. I help reduce my clients' anxiety levels so they can stay level-headed and focused on getting what they want most out of the transaction.

A Little Story

A client friend contacted me when he became the executor of his friend's estate, which included a property that had been vacant for two years. Proceeds from the sale were to be distributed to a number of needy relatives. The client had no idea of the property's market value. After completing a thorough market analysis, I recommended a fair market price that reflected a slowing marketplace. My client doubted we'd be able to get the asking price, but I felt otherwise.

I placed the property into the multiple listing service and also contacted a number of developers who I thought would be interested. We ended up with 13 offers! The winning offer was 15% over the asking price, which astounded my client and thrilled the family. I'm still getting referrals from them. Their slogan is "Listen to Lino."
